Michele Wolbert volunteered for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County at the Havre de Grace Ice Rink. The rink, open until the end of February, is run by and benefits a different local non-profit each week.
Chad Arrington joined the Harford County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Committee in hosting a Breakfast With Santa at the Applebee’s in Bel Air.
A portion of the cash proceeds benefitted Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna’s Repair Program that helps low-income families live independently and keep them safe in their homes, including keeping the heat on in homes during the winter months. In addition, toys were collected for a toy drive through Breathe 379, an organization that helps underprivileged individuals and families. On Sunday, December 20, Chad and other volunteers gathered in the Christmas spirit and delivered toys to children in Edgewood. This annual event provides an opportunity for advisors to hear directly from Davis Funds chairman and portfolio manager, Chris Davis, assistant portfolio manager Danton Goei, and members of the Davis Research Team. Chris and his colleagues discussed the Davis investment philosophy and process, as well as key themes that may drive shareholder returns in the years ahead. And, during an extensive Q&A session, they responded to advisor questions with candid and informative responses.
Charlie Wolpoff and Joe Henninger traveled to Columbus, Ohio to visit Diamond Hill Capital Management as part of our due diligence process. Charlie and Joe were able to meet with several members of the Diamond Hill team as well as tour their offices to get a feel for the culture and environment at Diamond Hill.
