Chuck Wienckowski

Retired Principal

Chuck retired as a principal and financial advisor of The Kelly Group on January 31, 2022.

He graduated from the University of Richmond in 1970 with a BS degree in accounting. After serving four years as a U.S. Army Ranger, he began his tax and accounting career. He became a certified public accountant (CPA) in 1975, and a Personal Financial Specialist (CPA/PFS) in 1991.

Chuck worked in public accounting for more than 47 years, as a partner with Coughlin & Mann, Clifton Gunderson, and finally with The Kelly Group.

Chuck was a financial advisor for more than 30 years. In addition, he was a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP).

He was a founding member and past chairperson of the Personal Financial Planning Committee of the Maryland Association of CPAs.

Chuck always placed his clients’ needs first, and was a true fiduciary, long before the term became prominent. Chuck “just wanted to make a small difference in the financial lives of his clients and friends.”

Chuck, and his wife Ann, will be enjoying retirement and travel from their new home in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Chuck and Ann hope to spend more family time with their sons Scott and Christopher, respectively.
