With a persistence and a thirst for knowledge, Tom looks to understand every client situation, and clarify and answer any questions. He does not give up until he has a solution, and is driven to stay current on all changes in law that may have an impact. He is passionate in attending to clients’ needs and feels it is his obligation to be a lifelong learner to accomplish this goal.
Joining The Kelly Group in 2016 as a financial planning associate, Tom works closely with the firm’s advisors on preparing financial plans, and is involved in planning, research and development of planning strategies. As a financial advisor, he works with clients to guide them in achieving their financial and life goals. He is humbled by the opportunity to share in their most intimate life events, both those that bring joy and mourning.
Tom holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification and is enrolled at Kansas State University in pursuit of an MS in personal financial planning. He graduated from the University of Delaware with a double major in finance and financial planning. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Maryland and the cochair of the FPA of Maryland NexGen Committee.
Tom grew up in Fallston, Maryland, and attended Calvert Hall College High School. He and his wife, Meredith, live in Nottingham, Maryland. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, daughter and dog.
